General Manager
Kori was born and raised here in Washtenaw County and has been living in the Ann Arbor / Saline area for the past 20 years with her husband and two children.
A graduate of Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Kori joined the management team at TPCC in 2014 with 14 years of marketing and sales experience. Kori’s professional focus and expertise are in client relationship management and brand marketing. From her days at AnnArbor.com and MLive Media Group, Kori developed a deep appreciation for local businesses and promoting growth within our local economy. She has a strong devotion to our community and works with our residents and businesses to promote our club and grow membership.
Kori enjoys working hand-in-hand with members to stimulate membership recruitment and retention efforts within the club.
Controller

Head Golf Professional
Rocky Mullendore took over as the Head Golf Professional at Travis Pointe on January 1, 2019. He has been on the Golf Professional staff at Travis Pointe since 2007. A graduate of Webber International University with a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Rocky earned his PGA membership in 2010 and was awarded Michigan PGA Assistant of the Year in 2017. Since then, Rocky has continued to expand his expertise, adding his Level 1 Titleist Performance Institute certification in 2017 and his Level 2 Junior certification in 2018.
Rocky has combined his passion for golf and fitness to create a season-long approach to improving one’s game. He has made it his goal to utilize all of Travis Pointe’s outstanding facilities to enhance the club experience for all members and their guests. Both on and off the course, Rocky helps players of all skill levels to maximize their playing abilities.
Members of all playing levels have benefitted from Rocky’s instruction. His teaching proficiency has helped numerous club champions (Junior, Men & Women’s and Senior Men’s and Women’s), as well as multiple junior golfers to earn collegiate golf scholarships. With Rocky’s enthusiasm and continued specialization, he plans to offer Travis Pointe members the best in equipment fitting, golf instruction, and physical training for decades to come.

Executive Chef
Jason is a nationally renowned, award-winning chef having been part of top restaurants in the United States, such as The French Laundry in Yountville, California, and the openings of Per Se in New York City and RN74 in San Francisco, as well as several others. RN74 held a Wine Spectator Grand Award and was recognized as one of the country’s premier wine destinations.
Jason hails from Adrian, Michigan, beginning his career at Plum Hollow Country Club in Southfield. From there, he moved around the country training with some legendary chefs: Thomas Keller, Michael Mina, Wylie Dufresne, Anita Lo, Corey Lee and David Waltuck. Most recently, he has been Partner and Executive Chef at Monsieur Benjamin Restaurant in San Francisco. Not only was he integral to the planning and opening of this restaurant, but he created the craft cocktail program for them as well. The reviews of this restaurant are fabulous!
In the summer of 2018, while vacationing in Michigan, he and his wife, Danielle determined they wanted to relocate back here to be closer to family and spend more time with their 6-year-old son, Ace.
Jason is a fabulous, well-rounded chef who is capable of producing amazing dishes in all culinary disciplines. He has a vast skill set in the kitchen and beyond, prides himself on being a teacher, a mentor who leads by example and a source of positive and impactful leadership. He is excited to be part of the Travis Pointe family. Additionally, Jason enjoys winemaking, home brewing and playing the drums.

Director of Tennis
Tom brings a wealth of country club experience to Travis Pointe, including recently serving ten years as the Racquet’s Director at the Woodstock Club in Indianapolis, Indiana, where he led both the tennis and platform tennis programs. Tom is certified by the United States Professional Tennis Association, Professional Tennis Registry, Professional Platform Tennis Association and is currently working toward additional certification within Heath Waters’ ACE System. He has experience running events such as Professional and Midwest level tennis tournaments and the Mixed National Platform Championships. Tom’s expertise extends off the court to pro shop management, racquet stringing and clay court maintenance/construction. He loves the variety of working with all levels of children and adults and looks forward to the opportunity to take your game to the next level.

Accounts Receivable
Sharon began as our receptionist in 1984 and was quickly promoted to the Accounting Department, overseeing member billing. Her attention to detail makes it a perfect fit.
Golf Course Superintendent
In 2019, Daniel Graft took over as the Golf Course Superintendent at Travis Pointe Country Club. Danny, as many of you know him by, has been at Travis Pointe for eight seasons. He is a graduate of Michigan State’s 2-year turf program. During his time at MSU, Danny was awarded scholarships from the GCSAA (National) and the MiGCSA (state) affiliations. He is currently a member of both. Danny started working on a golf course at the age of 16. At 21, he became the superintendent at Willow Wood Golf Club in Portland, Michigan where he grew up. Danny also worked at Walnut Hills Country Club and Milwaukee Country Club in Wisconsin. He is currently finishing his bachelor’s degree in Business Management. In the future, he hopes to obtain his certification for the GCSAA. Danny looks forward to maintaining our championship course for the members and giving them the best course conditions to play on.

Aquatic and Fitness Director
Kara, originally from Buffalo, NY, attended the University of Pittsburgh where she earned her B.S. in Movement Science and her Master’s degree in Teaching Health and Physical Education. As a former diver at the University of Pittsburgh, Kara was an NCAA Division I All American.
Kara Smith brings with her over twenty years of Aquatic and Fitness experience. While in Buffalo from 1998-2004, Kara was employed at UB as the Head Diving Coach, Aquatics Director, and professor of the American Red Cross Lifeguard training course & the American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor course. Kara also held positions as a Head Diving Coach /Owner of Wings Diving LLC, and a Personal Trainer for SAFETI training at the Buffalo Athletic Club.
After moving to Michigan, Kara continued coaching diving with her husband, Buck Smith, for Michigan’s #1 age-group diving program, Legacy Diving out of EMU. Kara is currently the Administrator of Legacy Diving, as well as the Saline High School Varsity Diving Coach.
Kara has worked here at Travis Pointe for twelve years as our Aquatics and Fitness Director. Kara is a certified personal trainer in ACE: American Council on Exercise. She lives in Ypsilanti with her husband Buck Smith, and two children, Allie and Karlie.
Carlos Nunez Jr.
Personal Trainer
Carlos has been a Personal Trainer since 2000 and has been teaching group classes since 2004. He is skilled and comfortable with people of all ages and diverse exercise backgrounds. If you are looking to get stronger or leaner, are recovering from an injury or dealing with a life challenge or degeneration of any kind, Carlos can be of service.
